State Industrial Technical Institute

Designed by Arnaldo Fuzzi, the current Istituto Tecnico Industriale Giacomo Marconi dates back to the late 1930s-early 1940s. Strongly desired to provide Forli with a school facility serving urban and extraterritorial areas that could accommodate 1,000 students, it represented a unicum in Italy for the presence of Agricultural Technical Education sections. Still today, slabs of travertine alternating with textures of brickwork highlight the three main bodies, now devoid of columns and molded crowning pediments, punctuated by imposing pilasters, which vertically frame the unified windows in a single type.
