Railway Station

Piazzale Martiri di Ungheria

Designed by Ezio Bianchi, the station dates from the mid-1920s.

The long elevation of about 80 meters in eclectic style is dominated by a central part, corresponding to the main entrance and double-height hall, characterized by two symmetrical turrets framing the three large entrance arches. The arches, in turn, are punctuated by pilasters and decorated with garlands of flowers. On either side, the complex is completed by two additional bodies with two arched secondary entrances.
